If you are looking for a great-value apartment-style room near the popular Maspalamas sand dunes, then the Taboga is difficult to beat, being just across the road. These large, self-catering apartments feature a full kitchen with microwave, toaster and coffee machine. There is an LCD TV and free WiFi, and  fresh baguettes are delivered to your door in the morning! The resort also has a heated swimming pool and gardens. The gay beach area at Hut 7 is about a 15-20 minute walk away. Nightlife-wise, the Taboga is about a 15-minute walk to the gay Yumbo Center. Limited availability, so book well in advance.

Located on the tip of Playa del Ingles overlooking the Maspalomas dunes, the RIU Palace Oasis is just a 5-minute walk from the gay beach and 15 minutes' walk to gay bars at Yumbo Center. The route from the hotel through the dunes and bushes is a busy gay cruising spot. RIU Palace Maspalomas offers air-conditioned guest rooms & suites. Many rooms have a balcony with great views. There are two large swimming pools with sun loungers, restaurant and bar. Both 'Bed & Breakfast' and 'all inclusive' options available.

It features a 21-metre high central building, that has a bohemian look. This hotel has that 'wow' factor! Location-wise, Lopesan is one of the closest hotels to the Maspalomas gay beach & cruising area (about 600 metres). You will need a taxi to get to the gay bars & clubs in the Yumbo Center.

The very gay-friendly IFA Catarina ticks a lot of our boxes. The hotel has a great location, halfway between the beach and Yumbo Center. Guest rooms are spacious, air-conditioned and have a private balcony have free WiFi. If you want to take a break from the beach, there is an excellent range of recreational facilities - 2 swimming pools, 3 jacuzzis, spa, gym, billiards and even table tennis. The rooftop sun deck is reserved for nudists!

A consistently popular hotel with gay travelers. The MUR Neptuno is located directly behind the Yumbo Center, the island's main gay nightlife. The hotel offers comfortable, air-conditioned room, with satellite flat screen TV, electronic safe, minibar, coffee & tea maker, free WiFi and a balcony. There is a heated pool (October-April), sauna, Finnish bath and gym. MUR Neptuno Gran Canaria offers shuttle service to the beachfront - which is a 15-minute walk to Hut 7 gay beach.

The all-inclusive Vital Suites Residencia is located near the Yumbo Center (5 minutes' walk) and within walking distance of the gay beach at Hut 7 (25 minutes - longer if you get distracted in the dunes). Large suites all air-conditioned and feature satellite TV, minibar, safe and a large terrace overlooking the pool or dunes. Free WiFi in the lobby. The resort as two pools, sun terrace with plenty of loungers. The spa include a sauna, Turkish bath and a 500 m² Talasso pool that is kept at 34°C. There is a gym with cardio and weight training equipment.

Great-value, beautiful beachfront resort with spa & casino, located just a short walk from the gay section in Maspalomas Beach & Dunes. With over 1,000 guest rooms, the Lopesan covers a massive space with a huge range of facilities. There are 4 swimming pools with sun loungers (and a dedicated nudist area), tennis courts, shopping arcade, cinema and a spa. Each air-conditioned room has a minibar, satellite TV and balcony. The large suites (70-140 m²) include a separate living area and larger terrace. The resort has 2 excellent restaurants that serve a variety dishes for breakfast and buffet dinner if you opt for half board. The Yumbo Center gay nightlife is less than 10 minutes away by taxi.

The gay-popular Aparthotel Buenos Aires offers budget apartments in a very convenient location - right next to the Yumbo Center! The resort features a pool with sun loungers, shades and a poolside bar. The apartments are fully furnished with satellite TV and free WiFi. The kitchen has a microwave, fridge, toaster, hob, etc. There is no air conditioning, but fans are available for rent. There is a supermarket nearby, so you can easily stock up on groceries. Nonetheless, B&B and half-board options are available. You can walk to the gay beach, but it is easier to take a taxi.

An excellent choice if you want to stay close to the beach. The 5-star Seaside Palm Beach is located just 100 metres from Maspalomas gay beach and features a gym, sauna and spa. This German-owned resort offers colourful, retro-designed rooms, each of which has a balcony (with either a sea or pool view), minibar, satellite TV and free WiFi. Facilities include a large lagoon-styled saltwater pool and sun terrace set within mature tropical gardens. The resort has a good choice of restaurants and bars, with different BBQ buffet themes.

Los Tilos attracts a lot of gay guests due to its location, right across from the Yumbo Center. The basic one-bedroom apartments (twin beds) are clean, reasonably spacious and offer great value for money. The resort has a decent-sized pool (big enough for laps), plenty of sun loungers and a restaurant & bar that serves good food at reasonable prices.

Quality apartments next to the gay Yumbo Center. Sol Barbacan offers modern, well-equipped rooms with air conditioning, kitchen (fridge, microwave, toaster), lounge area, flat screen TV and free WiFi. The hotel has 3 swimming pools, tennis courts, a mini golf course and provides nightly entertainment. There is a supermarket onsite, although you can take a good-value half board option with many food choices. Although this is a family hotel, its location and quality make it a popular choice with gay travelers.

Located just a few minutes' walk from Maspalomas sand dunes, the 5-star Seaside Grand offers Spanish colonial-inspired villas with private balconies and modern facilities including free WiFi. The villas are set in beautiful, mature tropical gardens, with a large pool, extensive sun terraces and loungers. Guests have free use of the tennis court and other facilities at the nearby Seaside Palm Beach Hotel. The resort has a well-equipped gym, hydro-massage saltwater pool, sauna and Turkish bath. Seaside's restaurant offers some of the best Canarian and international food on the island.

Very good-value apartments near the beach and just a 10-minute walk to the Yumbo Center.   Casas Pepe has extensive gardens, an outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace. The apartments have a terrace with ocean views, living area with sofa bed, flat screen TV, DVD player and free WiFi.  The kitchen has a fridge, microwave and washing machine. Guests have the choice of 'self catering', 'breakfast included' or 'half board' option (self catering includes two free, freshly baked bread rolls delivered every morning).

Eugenia Victoria offers great value and a wide range of facilities, located a 10-minute walk to the gay bars in Yumbo Center. Free shuttle service provided (or you can take a taxi for about 5€). Large guest rooms have a separate living area, satellite TV and mini-fridge. The resort has an outdoor pool with sun loungers and a quiet rooftop sun deck with a hot tub. The indoor heated pool & spa features a jacuzzi, Finnish sauna and Turkish bath. The gym is one of the best in Playa del Ingles, with cardio machines and free weights.

Located just a 10 minute walk from the gay nightlife in the Yumbo Center. The beach is also just a few minutes' walk away. However, you will probably need a taxi to get to the Hut 7 area.

Good value for money resort near Playa del Ingles beach and just 10 minutes to the gay scene. The adults-only SENTIDO features a heated pool, gym, spa with sauna, solarium, restaurant and bar. The Seaside Sandy Beach is about 10-minute walk from the Yumbo Center, so you can walk back to the hotel after a night out at the popular Mantrix gay dance club. The bungalow-styled Artemisa budget gay resort is in prime location, just steps away from the Yumbo Center and gay nightlife. The private terrace and swimming pool is clothing-optional. The onsite bar & restaurant offers an alternative to self-catering.

The budget priced, adults only RIU Don Miguel has a great location right next to the restaurants, shops and gay bars and clubs in the Yumbo Center. The hotel offers free bus service to the beach and seafront promenade (about 5 km away), a large swimming pool with sun loungers, gym, whirlpool and an excellent à la carte restaurant. Guest rooms are bright and modern, with free WiFi, flat screen TV, seating area and private balcony. Great value for money and a good option to consider.

The brand new, adults only Hotel Nayra has an excellent location, just a 2-minute walk from the heart of Gran Canaria's gay nightlife at the Yumbo Centre. The resort offers modern, stylish single, twin and double rooms, with air conditioning, flat screen TV, safe, fridge and fast, free WiFi. Freshly cooked-to-order breakfast is offered in the morning. The Santa Catalina Hotel is a luxury 5-star hotel located in the residentail area of Cuidad Jardin Sur. It is only a 20-minute drive from Gran Canaria Airport. The Santa Catalina is part of the Royal Hideaway group and is sat in a former casino. It towers above the city, which gives great views of the city and the Atlantic Ocean. The rooms have great features such as rain showers and mirrors that double as smart TVs. You are offered great services such as the Camarote pool bar, which serves fresh meditarraenean food and drinks.The hotel's restaurant Doramas offers a jazz brunch on Sundays.
