Beautiful interiors. Boutique choice.

We love this luxury boutique hotel on Barcelona's famous La Rambla street - right next to the Gothic Quarter.
Behind the original façade of what was the historic palace of El Regulador is an über-cool hotel with 31 uniquely styled rooms. The modern guest rooms & suites (which we can confirm have been soundproof) feature very comfortable beds, beautiful bathroom, flat screen TV, iPod dock, laptop-sized safe, WiFi.
The hotel's restaurant Bistrot El Regulador is worth a special mention, as is the rooftop bar (that served us excellent cocktails), swimming pool and sun terrace.
