Whilst not quite within the Chueca area, the B&B Fuencarral is just a couple of minutes' walk from the gay bars and less than 400 metres from Gran Via.
The soundproof, minimalist-designed yet very comfortable rooms feature free high speed WiFi, LED TV, minibar, safe, large shower with double jets.
On the 5th floor is a coffee and juice bar, offering unlimited free drinks and fruit all day and some great rooftop views of Madrid. Excellent value.
