Gay Valencia Beaches

Quiet beach area in the south of Valencia, between the Pinedo village to El Saler, along which there are pedestrian promenades, restaurants and bathroom facilities

The clothing-optional gay section of the beach is located about halfway down, next to an abandoned factory behind the dunes.

Now routes 24 and 25, both starting from Puerte Del Mar, will take you to Camping Col Vert. The journey takes about 25 minutes. For Pinedo, both routes 14 and 15 terminate at the beach. Both routes take about 40 minutes to reach the beach from a stop close to Estación Del Nord

Get off at Camping Verte and walk back 100 metres to the traffic island. Take the short road down to the sea. The gay beach is directly on the left.

Otherwise, you can take Bus #14 from the central station Estación del Norteto to Pinedo, which takes about 45 minutes. (Bus 14 has two different destinations, so make you you get on the right one).

Playa de la Arenas (aka ‘Cabanyal’) is the closest and most accessible beach to the city. The beach is lined with promenades, restaurants and a few bars. However, the area is used more for leisure activities and events, rather than the place for sunbathing.

There is no gay section on the beach, but the northern, quieter Playa de la Malvarrosa is popular with gay sunbathers and water sports fans.
