    Urge Miami Thanksgiving Festival

While most of the country is carving turkey, Urge Miami turns South Beach into a four-day circuit party built around the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, November 27 through 30, 2026. It's smaller and less internationally hyped than Miami's New Year's Eve circuit, which makes it the pick for anyone who wants the same scene without competing for a hotel room against the entire Northern Hemisphere's gay circuit crowd.

    The Schedule

Four days break down into a tea dance, a pool party, a beach party, and two full club nights, with an afterhours session closing out the weekend for anyone still standing.

Opening Night starts things off Friday afternoon with a tea dance from 2pm to 9pm, followed by Guapo, the weekend's first full club night, running 10:30pm to 5am. Saturday shifts outdoors for Swet, a pool party from 1pm to 8pm, before the night continues into the next club event. Sunday brings Urge Beach, a daytime party on the sand branded Sands of South Beach, running 1pm to 9pm, followed by We Party overnight into Monday. Monday itself closes the weekend with Raw, an afterhours set running 5am to noon for the crowd that isn't ready to let the holiday end.

    Where to Stay

Two host hotels anchor the weekend, the Clevelander and the Essex House, both in South Beach and both walkable to the party venues rather than requiring a rideshare at 4am. Rooms start from around $169 a night.

Staying at a host hotel isn't just convenience here, Urge markets itself directly on the idea that everyone you actually want to run into is staying at the same two properties, so a room elsewhere in Miami means missing the parts of the weekend that happen in hotel lobbies and pool decks rather than on a dance floor.

    Passes and Pricing

General admission and VIP passes are both available, with payment plans starting as low as $19.99 for anyone who'd rather spread the cost out ahead of the weekend than pay it all at once.

Given the event runs across five separate parties over four days, a full weekend pass is the more sensible route for anyone flying in specifically for it rather than trying to piece together individual tickets.

    Is Urge Miami Worth It

If Miami's NYE circuit scene sounds appealing but the price tags and crowds around New Year's don't, Urge is the same idea at a smaller scale and over a holiday weekend most circuit events ignore entirely.

It leans less on marquee headliner DJs than on the reunion factor, the same argument Urge itself makes directly, the music gets you there, but it's the people and the running gags from last year that get you to book again. For anyone who's done Miami's bigger New Year's parties and wants a quieter entry point to the same scene, Thanksgiving weekend here is worth serious consideration.

Urge also runs standalone events throughout the year beyond the main Thanksgiving weekend, including Urge Goes Pink, a one-off party held each September, worth checking for anyone who can't make the November dates but wants a taste of the same crowd sooner.
