Miami has never been short on New Year's Eve parties, but Dreamland NYE has built itself into the one most gay circuit party regulars actually plan their December around.

This is a multi-venue weekend rather than a single countdown party, spread across several nights and several of Miami's biggest spaces, run by the production team behind Planet Pride, one of the circuit's more established names.

What Dreamland NYE Actually Is

Dreamland runs as a weekend pass covering multiple parties across multiple nights rather than one ticket for one countdown moment. The lineup leans on major headliners and international DJs, with the kind of surprise guest slots circuit parties tend to build their reputations on. Two of the weekend's parties run under recognizable sub-brands of their own, PlayL1st and M.E.A.T. XXL Miami, both folded into the same weekend pass rather than sold separately.

The Venues and the Production Scale

Dreamland spreads across several of Miami's bigger nightlife spaces rather than staying in one room all weekend, among them Art Rooftop in Wynwood, M2, Midline, and Throw Social Miami.

The production itself is built at circuit-party scale, 60,000 square foot venues, a 500,000-watt sound system, 360-degree LED screens, and a hundred moving lights, the kind of setup built specifically for a room full of people who came to dance until sunrise rather than sip a single midnight glass of champagne.

Where to Stay

Uma House South Beach is the official event hotel, with rooms from around $400 a night and the resort fee waived for anyone booking through the event's own reservation link.

Staying here matters more than it might for an ordinary weekend away, an official hotel means shuttle logistics, later checkout, and a lobby full of people doing exactly what you're in town to do, useful at 5am after a night that ran considerably later than planned.

Passes and What Each One Gets You

Two tiers are on sale. The General Admission Weekend Pass covers entry to every party across all the weekend's venues, with in-and-out privileges and expedited entry at the door.

The VIP Weekend Pass adds skip-the-line access at every venue, elevated balcony space overlooking the main floor, a dedicated VIP lounge with its own bar, and private bathrooms at venues where that's available.

Tickets run through Tixr, and given the multi-venue, multi-night format, buying the weekend pass rather than trying to piece together single-party tickets is the more sensible route for most people flying in specifically for this.

Is Dreamland NYE Worth Building a Trip Around?

If your ideal New Year's Eve involves a countdown, a kiss, and bed by 1am, this isn't it. Dreamland is built for the opposite instinct entirely, a full weekend of circuit-scale production, multiple venues, and a crowd that treats New Year's as the excuse for four days of parties rather than one night of them.

For anyone already circuit-party inclined, Miami over this particular weekend is about as concentrated as that scene gets in the US calendar, and the weekend pass format means the actual planning, which party, which night, is largely done for you before you land.
