Carmen is a laidback gay bar in Salamanca. It's probably the best known gay bar in the city. They often have live music at weekends. There's a decent size dancefloor should you get the urge to dance the night away.

De Laval Genovés is not an exclusively gay bar but it is popular with the local gay community. It's known as El Submarino for one simple reason: the interiors look like the inside of a submarine.

Mist is a swanky cocktail bar in Salamanca, ideal if you're looking for a civilised drink. A wide range of cocktails are on offer and the prices are fair. It's not a gay bar but it is gay-popular. They have live jazz every Thursday.
