Hanoi Gay Bars & Clubs

Hanoi's best-known gay bar and one of Vietnam's longest-running gay venues. Bar GC (the GC stands for Golden Cock) gets very busy on Friday and Saturday nights, with gay locals, expats and foreigners.

The newly renovated bar has a pool table, some stools and chairs. Located near the Hoan Kiem Lake. Easy to find (Note: two streets share he same name).

From the lake, walk down Ngo Bao Khanh Street (away from the lake) and turn right at Khanh Street. GC is about 50 metres down. There is an illuminated sign above the doors.

Underground dance party in Hanoi for techno / house music fans, run by a couple of gay guys (one European and Vietnamese).

METRØ takes place about once a month (currently at Savage). Expect a good mix of straight and gay crowd.
