STF Zinkensdamm sits in Södermalm, Stockholm's most culturally rich neighbourhood, right on the edge of Tantolunden park. Private rooms and dorms are spread across 150 rooms, with the park's sandy beach a five-minute walk away and Hornstull metro station around ten minutes on foot. Södermalm is also home to several of Stockholm's most welcoming LGBTQ+ bars and venues.

On-site facilities include a sauna, two communal kitchens, bicycle hire, and the Zinkadus Bar & Café, which serves traditional Swedish dishes in the evening and lighter fare through the day. A breakfast buffet is available daily.

The hostel holds a Green Key sustainability certification and is a solid, well-located base for exploring the city without overspending.

Nomad Cave sits just outside Rådhuset metro station on the Blue line, one stop and three minutes from Stockholm Central Station. The Old Town is also reachable on foot in around 15 minutes along the lake shore. The area has a good range of restaurants, bars, and shops, and the hostel runs regular evening events including film nights, games, and karaoke.

Dorm rooms and private rooms are available, and bed linen and towels are included in the rate. The self-catering kitchen covers the basics. Two things worth knowing before booking: the hostel operates an informal age limit for guests over 40, and some rooms have no natural light.
