Lazy Bear Weekend 2027

Lazy Bear Week is an annual charity gathering in Guerneville, California, held in late July and early August. It runs for a full week on the Russian River, with pool parties, a tea dance and movie nights in the meadow. Proceeds go to LGBTQ+ and health charities through the Lazy Bear Fund, which has been running the event since 1996. Guerneville sits about 75 miles from San Francisco and has long been a magnet for gay travelers, especially the hippy-adjacent kind. The 2027 edition runs from Monday, July 26 to Monday, August 2.
