Side Bar is a small gay cocktail bar in the lively Bairro Alto district, near Clube da Esquina. It has reasonably priced drinks and a fun atmosphere. Though small, it's a popular spot and is frequented by tourists so the crowd almost always spills over onto the street outside.

Arrived 15 minutes after opening to be confronted be a twink that told me the bar was closed - doors open, bar open, music on, I was just tooo old, maybe someone should tell this f—- wit that I was one of the people that got his freedom. Disgusted and ashamed from my own community.

If your not under 30 forget it, ageist twink behind the bar will not serve you.
