Sandbar By The Sea

We've visited many times along with friends & would never have thought it was gay friendly. In fact the opposite. We've never felt welcome. They seem to want to be upmarket & are obviously trying to be sophisticated but it just comes across as rude. There isn't any chat/banter with them at all. They hover over you & hurry you up to order even though there's ample room for more customers. I had to tell the waiter we weren't in any rush & to give us more time. Lovely surroundings & the food is always excellent but a little pricey, typical of gay establishments, always overpriced.
