Kinsmen is an upstairs gay bar with a cosy, relaxed atmosphere. Nice mix of crowd, and foreigners are welcome. Great place to chill out and make new friends.
No cover charge.
The bar is directly behind the BYGS building, connected to the C8 exit of Shinjuku-Sanchome Station.

It's fantastic
It is without doubt one of the best gay bars in ni chome. I miss it very much.

Old Days
Years ago - say - 2010 - I was in Shinjuku. I went to Kinsmen to check it out. It has such a friendly environment. I immediately felt at home. The owners were playing 1980's hits and i was very happy. I had a lot of fun. I went back several times during my stay. I hope to go back some day.

I recommend it highly if you are alone in Shinjuku and need some company.
