Kawaii Monster Cafe - CLOSED

March 2022: This venue closed down in January 2021. 

Although not a gay bar, Kawaii Monster Cafe is arguably the campest bar in the known world. The menu is rainbow coloured, the staff dress as Harajuku girls and the food is rainbow-themed - you can eat technicolour spaghetti, rainbow cake and recline on a pink pussy while eating Colourful Poison Parfait. You can also try rainbow icecream served in upside-down cones.

There are different rooms packed with colourful figurines. It's like a different aspects of Japanese pop culture have been squeezed through a giant camp machine.
