Explore the Puglia region of Italy on a gay group cycling trip. You'll be cycling through some of the most beautiful landscapes in Italy with a group of fellow gay travelers. You'll cycle Roman roads, visit a gay-managed agriturismo and explore local vineyards. As well as eating classic Italian cuisine, you'll visit the mysterious city of Matera. People lived in Matera long before recorded history began, making it one of the world's oldest inhabited cities.

Day 1: Arrival

You'll be transferred from Bari airport to Villa Cappelli. It's located on the iconic Appian Way near to the Adriatic coast. There'll be a welcome dinner in the evening where you'll meet your fellow cyclists.

Day 2: Molfetta

This morning we'll be cycling through the countryside and visiting the Jatta Museum and also the necropolis of Ruvo di Puglia. When we arrive in Molfetta you can have a swim in the sea. After lunch we'll explore the seaport. Dinner at a top restaurant.

Day 3: Gravina

Today we'll visit Gravina, one of Italy's best-kept secrets - this town attracts few visitors. Don't forget to have a hearty breakfast as we'll be cycling quite far today.

Day 4: The Holy Grail?

We're on a quest to find the Holy Grail. Well, kind of. Today we'll visit Castel del Monte, a UNESCO-World Heritage site. It was built in the 13th-century and it's associated with the legends of the Holy Grail.

Day 5: Bari

We'll have a break from cycling and head to the seaside town of Polignano a Mare. We'll explore its quaint streets and then head to the capital of Puglia, Bari. Back at the villa we'll dine on pizza cooked in a wood-burning oven.

Day 6: Matera

Matera is a mysterious city perched on an outcrop. It was abandoned in the mid-20th century due to dire living conditions. It has since become one of the most enticing tourist destinations in Italy. There's 0 other city quite like it.

Day 7: Trani

Today we'll visit the coastal city of Trani. That's its actual name, 0 sniggering at the back. We'll have lunch here and then head back to the villa for a farewell dinner.

Day 8: Departure

On your last day you'll be transferred to the airport for your return flight.
