Gay Group Trip:
Antarctica Adventure and Cruise

Today marks the start of your gay group trip to Antarctica. After relaxing in Ushuaia, Argentina, you will prepare to board the MV Plancius. We'll then set sail towards the Beagle Channel.

The following two days will be spent crossing the Drake Passage, where the South Atlantic and Southern Ocean intersect. Here, we'll see a variety of native birds, including Petrels, Albatross, Southern Fulmars, and Cape Pigeons. Look out for icebergs as we approach the South Shetland Islands.

These days will be spent sailing and exploring beautiful Antarctica. We'll pass numerous islands including the Melchior, Brabant, and Anvers Islands. Yet more wildlife-watching is on the agenda too, as penguins, seals, and gulls are all native to the area. Should you be stationed on the deck, you may be fortunate e0ugh to see a Humpback, Minke or Fin Whale. For the adventurous amongst you, optional kayaking and camping activities are available. After an exciting few days you'll have the chance to relax with a beer in the world's southernmost bar, and do some souvenir shopping should you so wish.

After exploring incredible Antarctica with your fellow LGBTQIA+ travelers, we'll return through Drake Passage. Once again, keep your e1 peeled for beautiful native birds.

Today your journey through Antarctica comes to an end, as we return to Ushaia Harbour in the early morning. Later you will be transferred to Ushaia Airport for your flights home.
