Voted one of New Zealand's leading boutique hotels for many years. The George Hotel overlooks Hagley Park and the River Avon and is just a few minutes' walk from CRUZ, the only gay bar in town!
The George has two award-winning restaurants: Pescatore, for contemporary fine dining; and 50 Bistro, a more informal restaurant specialising in local produce.
Guest rooms & apartments are tastefully furnished and feature a 32" LCD TV, digital movie system. There is no gym or pool, but complimentary offsite gym facilities are available.
With a one-to-one staff to guest ratio, The George offers outstanding service and a great place to explore the city, being near the town centre, restaurants and attractions.
