Shangri-La Le Touessrok is set on the east coast of Trou D'Eau Douce. It's the most private setting on the island - you could imagine Madonna strolling through the lobby wearing large sunglasses.
Having been voted the Best Hotel In Africa and the Indian Ocean for three years in row, this hotel really is the best of the best.
All villas come with a 24-hour butler, so all your needs and desires can be fulfilled. If you want a martini or a fruit kebab delivered to your sun lounger, ask and you shall receive.
Sunset horse riding and even horse swimming are among the activities on offer. You can also set out on a private catamaran cruise with your own chef on board.
All of the rooms are excellent, especially the suites on the Frangipani Wing.
