The Premier Inn London Putney Bridg offers good quality rooms, located just a few minutes' walk from the Putney Bridge Underground station (Zone 2 on the District Line). From there, you can go anywhere in central London in 30-50 minutes (including both Soho and Vauxhall).
The hotel is on the Number 14 night bus route. If you stay out late in Soho, you can get back to your hotel easily and cheaply. Good value for money, particularly if you book ahead.
There are plenty of places to eat across the river in Putney.
