Mio is an achingly trendy hotel in the heart of Buenos Aires. The door to the entrance is fashioned from oak wine barrels. Large metal butterflies are one feature of the hotel's striking decor. Mio has an avant-garde quality.
Their indoor heated pool is one of the most beautiful and luxurious in the city.
This hotel takes design seriously: the tree trunk bathtubs and wine-barrel doors created by Argentinian artist Mario Dasso are very striking and no two are the same! Bathing in one is truly an experience.
Mio is in Recoleta, so Contramano is a 5-minute walk down the road and Flux Bar is also a local popular gay hangout.
