Sydney Mardi Gras 2026 is happening from February 13 to March 1, 2026!

Just in time for Valentine's day, come celebrate love and be a part of the glamour of one of the world's most spectacular world-class celebrations of LGBTQ pride! The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras celebrates its 48th year in 2026, so it's guaranteed that the celebrations are bigger than ever! With the theme, Free to Be, the festival aims to celebrate equality while also setting a reminder that we are not truly free until we are all free to be.

Sydney Mardi Gras Parade

The main parade and event will take place on the 28th of February. It will take over Oxford Street, Flinders Street and Anzac Parade for the biggest night-time LGBTQIA+ Parade in the world! Expect parades, floats, shows, performances, street parties and much more.
