Rhode Island PrideFest 2026: dates, parade, information

Billed as New England's largest LGBTQIA+ celebration, Rhode Island Pride takes place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, with the festival running from 11:30 am at District Park in Providence, followed by the event's signature Illuminated Night Parade at 8:00 pm.

The daytime festival brings a main stage with live performances, a vendor exhibition showcasing LGBTQ+ and ally-owned businesses and local artisans, a dedicated Kids Zone run by the Providence Children's Museum from 12 to 3 pm, and a 21+ Beer, Wine and Spirits tent with eight full-service bars directly adjacent to the main stage.

The night parade is the standout moment, winding through Dorrance, Washington and Weybosset Streets as darkness falls across the city, making Rhode Island Pride one of the more distinctive Pride formats on the East Coast calendar.

Providence is a compact, walkable city with a strong arts scene and easy rail connections to Boston and New York, making it a straightforward addition to a wider New England trip.
