What to Expect at Phoenix Pride
With 55,000+ attendees, Phoenix Pride continues to be a major fixture in the LGBTQ+ calendar and grows in both scale and significance each year. Recent editions have seen hundreds of corporations, local businesses, and community organizations come together in support, reflecting the strong momentum behind the festival.
Phoenix Pride typically delivers a vibrant mix of performances, community spaces, and immersive experiences across the park. Visitors can expect 150+ live acts across multiple stages, showcasing everything from local performers and drag royalty to high-energy DJs and headline appearances.
The Pride Parade is a major highlight, traditionally departing from 3rd Street & Thomas and concluding near 3rd Street and Indian School, drawing crowds along the route in a colorful show of visibility and pride.
With 300+ exhibitors, the festival showcases LGBTQ+ businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations alongside curated merchandise and useful resources. Food trucks and diverse culinary offerings are a big part of the experience, joined by craft cocktail bars serving up drinks under the Arizona sun.
Art and expression shine at the Arts Expo, spotlighting queer creativity across multiple mediums. The Dance Pavilion keeps energy levels high, while the Main Stage brings the community together for standout performances throughout the weekend.
A Celebration with Purpose
Beyond the fun, Phoenix Pride continues to highlight the ongoing civil rights issues facing the LGBTQ+ community. The festival serves as a platform for education, advocacy, and fundraising in support of Phoenix Pride Community Programs, which provide year-round resources and support across Arizona.
The event also brings together government representatives, public services, and corporate partners, all showing visible support for LGBTQ+ equality and inclusion.
