Since 1988, Midsumma Festival has been Melbourne’s biggest LGBT+ festival, bringing together a diverse mix of LGBTQIA+ artists, performers, communities and audiences.
Melbourne Pride and the Pride March are organized and delivered by Midsumma, Australia's premier queer arts and cultural organization. Midsumma Festival usually runs over 22 days in Melbourne's summer (January/February) each year with an explosion of queer events that center around hidden and mainstream queer culture, involving local, interstate, and international artists.
The Pride March is taking place on 6 February 2022, and the festival is coming to an end with Melbourne Pride on 13 February 2022.
